Main Street Motors is a family owned and operated business. Our principal owner, Brian McCormick,
has been in the Rhode Island automobile sales business for over 27 years. Brian graduated from the University of Rhode Island
with a degree in education in 1970. After a career in teaching for six years, Brian made the difficult decision to enter the
business world. He became an automobile dealer in 1978 and has remained in the business ever since. Brian has sold countless
cars, and has made numerous friends as a result. Now, a second generation of automobile dealers has appeared on the Main
Street Motors landscape. Brian Scott and Shane Colin McCormick have joined their dad in the continuing quest to provide reliable,
inexpensive, and roadworthy transportation to the motoring public.
The wonders of the Internet and how it has made our world much smaller are abundantly apparent
here at Main Street Motors. We are a small used car dealership tucked away in a tiny section of the smallest state
in the U.S. Yet, we have delivered vehicles to many of the continental United States and such far away places as
Ghana Africa, Germany, St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands, Moscow Russia and the Middle East.
